My story

Hi, my name is Mugsy! I’m an adorable 8-year-old mixed-breed dog, and my rescue thinks I might have some Schnauzer in me with Shihtzu .: I’m absolutely adorable and incredibly sweet! weighing 14 pounds so the perfect size I’m currently in a foster home with other dogs, and I enjoy snuggling with my furry friends. I do best in a calm, quiet environment since too much activity can feel overwhelming for me. Don’t let my small size fool you—I take my job as a protector seriously! I’ll bark to let you know if someone is walking into the home, and I even act like I’m herding them, which sometimes surprises people. But deep down, I’m just making sure everything is in order! My foster mom says I’m a very good boy in the house—I’m non-destructive and love lounging on a comfy couch or dog bed.
