My story

Hi, I'm Cayo! My name is Spanish and means "rejoice." It was chosen because I arrived around the New Year, after being found and given a second chance. You can describe me as an introvert, quiet and independent, but if you're patient, and break out the toys and fellow feline friends, I will relax! I'm just very unsure in environments that can be busy like the adoption center. It's a cool place, don't get me wrong, but it's not for me long term. Your home is! I prefer quiet, subdued, mellow, peaceful, with the same energy to match. And look, while it may take me a long time to adjust in a home, patience, understanding and respect will allow me the second chance I deserve. I am genuinely sweet, kind and gentle.
