My story

Guthrie is an affectionate red Chow with a personality that’s larger than life. He’s incredibly friendly, always ready to greet you with enthusiasm, and loves nothing more than being close to his people. While he’s a bit barkier than most Chows, it’s just his way of expressing his excitement and zest for life! Guthrie thrives with familiar faces - his experience with other dogs beyond his kennel pal Gordo is limited, so he’s still figuring out those dynamics. With a bit of patience and understanding, this energetic and loving boy is sure to bring boundless joy to the lucky family who opens their home to him. **Guthrie is located in Austin, Texas.
