Lover Boy (FELV+)

My story

Lover Boy was rescued from someone's front yard in Detroit MI. He was born outside and going to freeze, so we took him in to our care. He is the most LOVING - he wants to be with PEOPLE - purrs all of the time, and is a strong, fluffy kitty who will grab right on to you! Lover Boy has had to live away from other kitties because he tests FELV positive, which means he needs to live in a house with no other cats, or with a cat who is also FELV positive. This condition means that his immune system can be easily compromised - so keep this kitty warm, keep this kitty fed, and keep his litter clean. He shows no signs of illness and likely carries a "dormant", or "less-aggressive/low-count" form of the retrovirus. We included some video footage - meet him and you will fall in love.
