My story

MEET HAPPY! Happy is a 51 lb Kelpie/Lab mix with a zest for life and a heart full of potential. Rescued from the euthanasia list at county, she’s since blossomed into an active, playful girl who loves walks, toys, and curling up for cuddles once she’s worn out. True to her name, Happy is full of tail wags and enthusiasm — once she feels safe. She can be cautious with new people at first, but once she warms up, she’s loyal and affectionate. She does well with adults and may be a good fit for a home with much older, dog-savvy kids who are calm and respectful. Happy is house trained, knows basic commands, and is working hard to keep improving with consistency. She’s smart, eager, and thrives in a structured environment with regular activity and guidance.
