My story

ABOUT MAX Meet Max, our handsome 10-year-old gentleman! This dignified fellow was brought in after his owner could no longer care for him. While this has been a big adjustment for Max, he's starting to settle in and feel more comfortable.Max is a bit shy at first, but he warms up quickly once he gets some pets! As an older gentleman, he enjoys the quieter things in life: a cozy bed to nap in and a tasty treat. Max has lived with cats before, but we recommend a calm kitty companion for him. *Since Max is a shy gentleman, we suggest he go to a home without kids or dogs. If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.
