ABOUT MAX! Meet Max, our handsome ten-year-old gentleman! This dignified gent was brought in after his owner was unable to care for him any longer. This has been a big adjustment for him, but he's starting to settle in and feel comfortable. Max is a shy boy, but he warms up once he gets some pets! Being an older man, he enjoys the quiet life, a cozy bed to nap in and a yummy treat! *Max has lived with cats before, but we do recommend a calm kitty friend for him. Because he is a shy man, he recommend he go to a home with no kids and no dogs. **If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.
