My story

Meet Abby! Abby is a 6-year-old mixed-breed female who was transferred in from Alabama in early 2025 and is ready to bring energy, love, and plenty of tail wags into her forever home. With her high energy level and playful spirit, Abby is always up for an adventure—whether it’s a long walk, a game of fetch, or splashing around in the water (one of her favorite things!). She absolutely loves toys, is great on a leash, and already knows her basic commands, making her a joy to take out and about. Abby is incredibly affectionate and thrives on cuddles and human attention. After a fun-filled day, she’s more than happy to curl up next to you for some quality snuggle time. She gets along well with other dogs and would enjoy having a canine playmate, but she is not a fit for homes with cats. Abby doesn’t require previous dog experience—she’s a great match for anyone who can keep up with her active lifestyle and provide the love and structure she deserves.
