My story

Meet Glitch, a 9-year-old cat who is adjusting to a brand new environment after being transferred from another shelter. Understandably scared and still processing everything, he hides at the shelter as he navigates this big change.Glitch is looking for a loving forever home with a patient adopter who can offer him the time and space he needs to build trust and regain confidence. While he may be shy at first, with a little patience and understanding, we believe Glitch will come out of his shell and reveal his true affectionate nature.Glitch would thrive in a quiet, calm environment where he feels safe and secure. He deserves a home where he can finally feel comfortable, loved, and cherished. Therefore, CT Cat Connection has a policy that kittens ​and teenagers up to 12 months of age are adopted in pairs unless there is another animal in the household as a playmate and companion.Due to demand, we cannot place cats or kittens on hold. Your visit to the shelter is to meet any cat or kitten available for adoption at the time of visit.If you or anyone you know is interested in helping the shelter, we are always looking for foster families of our cats and dogs, as well as in-person volunteers, to assist with animal care.
