My story

Meet Sandford! Sandford is a fun-loving boy who is always up for playtime! He has tons of energy and could play tug all day if you let him. Despite his playful nature, he settles down nicely in his crate when it’s time to rest. Sandford is a big fan of attention and will happily climb onto your lap with a toy or just to snuggle. He’s still learning to stay calm for long, but he’s affectionate and enjoys being close to his people. Sandford’s favourite activities include anything involving food or toys! He’s obsessed with his treat ball and gets a little sassy when it's empty. He’s also known to bark at squirrels and give a chase if they get too close. Sandford is friendly with people and loves making new friends, though he can be a bit jumpy when excited. Because of his energetic play style, he’d do best with older kids who understand his bouncy behaviour. Although Sandford loves people, he is nervous around other dogs and prefers to avoid them. A quiet neighborhood where he can have space around dogs would be ideal for him. He’s made great progress on his leash skills, but could use further training to improve his pulling and help him feel more confident on walks. Sandford is crate trained and handles being alone like a champ. He’s happy to rest in his crate when you’re away and sleeps peacefully through the night. He’ll follow you around the house when out and about, always curious about what you’re up to, and is eager to spend time with his favourite people. Sandford is also totally house trained! Sandford’s ideal home would be in a quiet neighborhood with a family that can provide plenty of playtime and attention. He would do best in a home without other pets, especially dogs, and with older children who can handle his energetic and jumpy behaviour. A calm, understanding environment will help him continue building confidence and enjoy his time as a loving companion. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate companion who’s ready to be your adventure buddy, Sandford might be the perfect fit!
