Meet Trike – A Sweet and Resilient Little Star!DOB: 8/18/2024Trike is a young, three-legged beauty with a heart as big as her purrs! Despite losing a leg to an unknown injury, she’s full of love and ready to find her forever home. This mellow girl adores gentle pets and belly rubs and will reward you with the most amazing motor-like purrs. She’s also a little chatterbox, sharing her thoughts with the cutest squeaky meows.Trike is fine with other cats but is terrified of dogs, so she’ll need a canine-free home. Sudden movements and loud noises still startle her, so she’d do best in a calm, quiet environment—older children or adults only, at least until she gains more confidence. She may occasionally give a little hiss to let you know she’s in charge, but don’t worry—it’s all show and no bite.This sweet girl has come a long way in learning to trust people. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
