My story

Hi there, I'm Robin! I'm a 3-year-old husky mix, on the petite side but with a big heart and a playful spirit! I'm the kind of gal who LOVES a good game of fetch -I'll race to get the ball and even bring it back (sometimes I like to drop it just far enough so it rolls to your feet ... it's more fun that way!). I'm also a huge fan of tug, and if I really want to play, I might pester you a bit, but don't worry, after a short time I'm happy to chill. When I'm not zooming around the yard or hunting for lizards (a favorite hobby of mine!), you can find me entertaining myself with toys or settling down for a nice nap in the house or on the porch. I've got a playful side for sure, but I also know how to relax and just hang out. At night, I sleep in my crate (I don't complain even though I'm not a big fan of the crate), and I've been learning all the house rules. I've had a few pee accidents, but I'm improving every day. I've also become quite the cuddler - belly rubs are my favorite, and I love asking for pets. I might be a little cautious when meeting new people, but I warm up quickly. On walks, I start out super excited (so many smells! so many dogs to meet!), but I settle down as we go, and I don't pull too much. I know commands like sit, down, touch, wait, and load-up for car rides - and we're working on stay and place, too! I ride well in the car, I'm quiet around the house (only bark at weird stuff), and I'm totally okay being left alone for a bit. Honestly? I'm just an easy dog to have around. I'm friendly, adaptable, and happy doing whatever you're doing - whether that's playtime, cuddle time, or just relaxing. I'd love a forever home with a yard to run in and humans who'll appreciate my fun, affectionate nature. If that's you, I promise I'll bring so much joy and love to your life.
