Bahama Mama

My story

Bahama Mama is an extra large beauty with a delightfully relaxed temperament.  She's well adjusted at Tenth Life's adoption lounge and loves to nap in a cozy bed. She loves the company of all people, and just wants to be near them. She enjoys relaxing next to you on the sofa, watching you work from a soft bed by the desk, or snuggling up beside you in bed.  While she enjoys being near her human in quiet proximity, she also loves pets.  You can get lost in her thick, soft fur.  But when you finally stop snuggling her, she will sometimes place a gentle paw on your arm to request more pets! Mama occasionally utters the tiniest squeak of a meow that contrasts amusingly with her large frame.  Her most interesting physical feature is her dramatically striped lemur tail, and she has big expressive eyes with lovely black liner. She is intimidated by other cats, but not aggressive.  She may warm up to siblings with time! Bahama Mama is declawed and has a history of constipation, typically when stressed or during periods of change. We give her a daily fiber supplement, which has helped!
