My story

DUKE and DUTCHESS 👑 👸 🐾 Currently safe in a southern foster home, Duke and Dutchess are two gorgeous puppies with a rough start to life. Like so many before them, they were discarded and abandoned—but thankfully, they were found near their foster home and taken in with love. We’re still learning all about these sweet siblings, but the videos we’ve seen show happy, wagging tails and a whole lot of puppy sweetness. They appear to be large-breed pups with some shepherd mixed in, and we estimate their age to be about 4 to 4.5 months. Now, a funny side note: somewhere along the way, I thought their names were Duke and Dutchess…but it turns out I made that up in my head. The good news? The names stuck, and they wear them well! Duke is a striking black-coated boy, while Dutchess is a beautiful brown-coated girl. Both are getting along wonderfully with their foster’s resident dog, and now we’re on the hunt for their perfect forever homes (separately).
