My story

Meet Sweet Corn! This mellow girl is as sweet as her name suggests. With her gentle nature and intelligence, she’s a quick learner and loves to soak up all the attention. She’s a calm, easygoing companion who enjoys belly rubs and taking life at her own pace. Whether she’s curled up for a nap or exploring new things, Sweet Corn’s loveable personality will win you over in no time! I would best be with a family with kids and other dogs. Personality & Characteristics: Sweet Corn is a calm and mellow girl. She is a sweet gentle giant. Her beautiful eyes and smile will melt you in an instant. My foster dog is good with: adults, someChildren. We are learning to be better with other dogsMy foster dog is: crate trained and house trained3 Keywords for your pup: sweet, playful, independentEnergy Level (1= calm, 10= high energy): 4Barker? Or Quiet Pup?: Quiet Pup, except when she sees people or dogs in the street - she cries to say hello! As well as when she is playing.Walking Manners: when using her harness she does not tug on the leash or picks up anything she shouldn't. She walks quietly except when seeing another dog but she does her business while being curious to her suroundings. The night time and loud noises does make her anxious but who wouldn't!Appetite: Normal, eats all her foodFavorite Things: Loves to lay in her crate with her bed, she loves her space, we love a girl with boundaries - no seperation anxiety here! She looks her waffles and chicken treats. She also loves attention from anyone that will give her a belly rub or zoomies!Commands/Tricks: She does sit and down, learning other commands. ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs. Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States ##2283377##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Sweet Corn, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
