My story

Brown Butter Pecan, aka "Joe," is a sensitive soul who is looking for a quiet place to call home. He is a very sweet-but-timid dog who will take time to warm up, but after a few days you will have his love in spades. Joe loves spending time outside—whether he's chasing a ball, listening to the birds or just lounging in the sun—but he also likes to settle down in his crate with a chew toy after a play session. He is good with other dogs, and he happily wags his tail, taps his toes and hops around when he's seeking approval for being a good boy. He is completely potty trained and super polite — however, he may need a bit of time to get confident on a leash, so the best home for Joe would be outside of a city with easy access to his own backyard. Some words that best describe Joe: goofy, sweet, sensitive and loving. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.
