My story

Meet Mila, the stunning chocolate Pit Bull Terrier mix with the most precious face and a personality as vibrant as her coat! Mila is a small but mighty bundle of energy who thrives on adventure and playtime. She absolutely loves long walks—especially when she gets to sniff everything in sight! A harness is her best friend for walks since she’s a strong and enthusiastic explorer. Plush toys with squeakers are her absolute favorite, and she takes great joy in shredding them to bits like the pro toy-destroyer she is (she has not ingested the pieces either). Mila is a big fan of tasty, fragrant treats like cheese and freeze-dried goodies, and she’s eager to learn new training cues with the help of a squeaky toy or two. She’s already doing great with “sit”! Though she can be a bit of a jumper and occasionally gets mouthy when excited, it’s all in good fun, and she’s quick to settle when given a little time and patience. Mila’s playful nature extends to dogs, and she’s shown friendly body language during family walks with another pup. She hasn’t met cats or kids, but her spirited energy and parkour-like antics mean she’d do best in a home without little ones (small children). This sweet girl has had zero potty accidents in her foster home, loves car rides, and even enjoys rubbing up against her humans for some extra affection. Our dogs and puppies go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (7 months and over), and up to date on core vaccines, heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.
