My story

Meet Sundance! This sweet soul is on a journey to discover the brighter side of life. While his past has been challenging, he’s now ready for a fresh start in a loving and understanding home. Sundance may be shy at first and takes his time warming up, but with patience and kindness, his true personality begins to shine. He’s already crate trained and potty trained, gets along well with other dogs, and shows little interest in cats—what a good boy! He would thrive in a calm, structured environment with a tall, secure fence, and he’d absolutely love having a confident canine buddy to help show him the ropes. Sudden movements or loud noises can make him nervous, so a peaceful, gentle home will be best for him. Sundance is looking for someone who will give him the time and space he needs to feel safe and loved. With patience and encouragement, this special pup has the potential to blossom into a loyal, happy companion. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
