My story

Meet Foxie, the absolute definition of a perfect dog, a sweet and gentle soul who has blossomed into a truly incredible companion. When Foxie first arrived at the shelter, she was in rough shape—underweight, extremely stressed, and clearly overwhelmed by the unfamiliar and noisy environment. But everything changed when she was placed in a loving foster home. With patience, care, and kindness, Foxie transformed into a whole new dog. Foxie is amazing with other dogs of all ages—even energetic puppies—whom she lovingly mothers, sharing toys and space without a second thought. Her nurturing nature and calm presence make her a favorite in any pack. She’s fantastic on a leash, and she doesn’t jump on furniture—just happy to rest on a cozy bed nearby. Foxie is crate trained, very quiet, and incredibly low energy, preferring calm snuggles and gentle attention over wild play. Once she feels safe, she opens up quickly and becomes a social, affectionate companion who just wants to be close to her people. She’s the kind of dog who fits into any household, from a quiet home to one full of canine friends. Foxie is the total package: loving, polite, easygoing, and loyal. After all she’s been through, she’s still full of love and ready to share it with a forever family lucky enough to call her their own.
