My story

Odysseus, aka Odie, was on the run for weeks in Oak Ridge, slipping through parking lots and hearts alike. But that chapter's over. Now? He's discovered that running toward people (and treats!) is way more fun than running away.When Odie first arrived at the shelter, he was scared. But day by day, he's blossomed into a brave, affectionate, and joyful pup. Now he leans in for pets, tail wagging, with a smile as big as a full moon. In the kennel, he's a goofy little "jumping bean," but the moment he's outside, he transforms. He stands patiently to have his harness put on and heads out for his a walk, ready to explore.He loves to play catch... though he's not one to give the ball back without some convincing! Despite his playful energy, Odie has a calm, unbothered spirit - he doesn't react to other dogs barking or growling.Odie has a heart as big as his smile, and he's ready to share both with a forever family.
