This sweet and affectionate girl is the total package—elegant, playful, and incredibly well-mannered. Currently in foster care with two other Great Danes (yes, the couch is officially full in her awesome foster home!), Ruby has proven to be a joyful and easy-going companion. She is: &#226&#156&#133 Fully vetted – spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped &#226&#156&#133 House-trained and crate-trained &#226&#156&#133 Well-behaved indoors – the best roommate you could ever ask for! Ruby loves car rides, adores the company of other dogs, and is wonderful with cats. She’s respectful of fences and thrives in a calm, loving environment. Her favorite activities include attending doggy daycare, going for walks (she’s a huge fan!), playing dress-up, and curling up on the couch for a good movie and cuddle session. She’s also proudly the reigning queen of the “stare down”—a game she plays with her canine companions in the foster home. It’s all in good fun, of course, and part of her gentle but playful personality. And just a heads-up—Ruby snores. When she’s in a deep sleep, she’ll open her mouth wide and let out the most endearing, full-on Great Dane snorkles you’ve ever heard. It’s equal parts hilarious and heart-melting! Whether she's out exploring the world or snuggling at home, Ruby brings joy, character, and charm wherever she goes. Please read our adoption policies page in its entirety before filling out application-failure to do so may delay the adoption process. Please answer all questions on the application, failure to do so may result in your application being denied. We do not adopt on a first come first serve basis but what is the best fit for our dogs.  We do give preference to homes with fenced yards. Puppies must live in homes with fenced yards. Those with no fencing must have a plan in place for daily activity and bathroom breaks for adult dogs. With the exception of Meet and Greets, y ou will not be able to meet our adoptable animals until the adoption application is submitted online and the home visit is completed. We will not place adult rescue dogs in homes with young children under 6 years old, with the exception of puppies 6 months and under, we will adopt to families with children under 6 years old, but a fenced yard is mandatory. Our dogs must live indoors with their humans and never left outdoors alone or in a kennel or yard unattended. You must be willing to use a crate and sign up for formal obedience classes. You must be 21 and own your home. We will not adopt outside of the USA. We will not ship our dogs.
