Bonnie Walsh

My story

Bonnie is a pretty grey girl with green eyes. She is a sensitive girl that expresses her dislike of situations by grumbling and mumbling to herself. She wants to be an only cat where she can get all the pets and attention. She loves "her" person and will chatter at you to get your attention. She is initially suspicious of everyone and prefers to grant permission to be petted. Once you have her trust, however, she is a loving companion. She will follow you around and sit on your lap and next to you. She likes sitting in boxes and hide-away beds. Her coat is neat and clean and she is a minimal shedder. In foster, she would dash into the kitchen from the foster room be inside with her foster mom. Her estimated date of birth is November 12, 2020. Bonnie should be adopted into a home by a cat-experienced single female with no additional humans or cats in the home. Bonnie has been around her foster’s cat-savvy mastiff dog and is neutral towards him, so she should do OK if the dog is used to cats and is not a small, companion-breed/lap dog who would compete for her person's attention. Bonnie was surrendered with another cat to 4Paws when her owner married a canine policewoman with three pet dogs in addition to her service dog. The service dog had a strong drive and they were afraid the cats could get hurt. They kept the cats locked up away from the dogs, who tended to get loud and rambunctious. They knew it wasn’t a long-term solution so they contacted 4Paws to rehome them. Bonnie has had vaccinations for rabies and distemper, is microchipped, and has been spayed. She has tested negative for FeLV and FIV. She is eating Fancy Feast classic pate (no fish flavors) and Purina One Indoor Advantage turkey.
