My story

This sweet and soulful Chihuahua is as soft and cuddly as her name suggests. Cotton came to us after a tough start in life, but she’s been blossoming in her foster home and is now ready to find a family who will cherish her the way she deserves.Cotton is around 5 years old and is learning the joys of indoor living. She loves pillows, cozy couches, and snuggling in bed. Despite being new to housetraining, she’s doing incredibly well, with only occasional accidents. She’s eager to please and so happy to be part of a loving home.Cotton lives peacefully with two small, older dogs and enjoys their companionship, but she also wouldn’t mind being your one and only. She can be unsure around kids (they can be loud and scary) and may do best in an adult-only home where she feels safe and secure. She’s still working on her leash skills, but she loves going for walks and exploring the world with her person by her side.Her favorite activities include cuddling up with you, sneaking sweet kisses, gently asking for attention with her skinny little legs, and staring into your eyes with her stunning blue-and-brown gaze. She has a soft coat that feels like talcum powder, a cute underbite, and a smile that melts hearts.Cotton’s ideal home is a calm one with patient, affectionate people who are often home or can include her in daily adventures. She thrives on connection, routine, and being close to her people—she’s truly a velcro pup. While she doesn’t play with toys much, she delights in being your shadow and sharing quiet, happy moments together.This girl has come such a long way and is so ready to give and receive unconditional love.
