My story

Meet Juno, a stunning blue cattle dog and heeler mix with one mesmerizing blue eye and one warm brown eye—just one of the many things that make her unforgettable. Juno is the perfect blend of goofy and sweet—she’ll have you laughing with her joyful “tap dances” when she’s excited (which is often), and then cuddling quietly by your side when it’s time to wind down. This clever girl knows how to sit, shake, and lie down, and she’s always eager to please—especially if there’s a treat involved. She’s potty trained, kennel trained, and sleeps soundly through the night. Juno thrives on routine and structure, and she’s been a polite houseguest, even when visitors stop by or the neighbor dogs say hello. Juno enjoys the company of other dogs, especially in relaxed settings like daycare. She’s not a rough-and-tumble player but loves soft toys, rolling in grass, and leisurely walks where she can sniff to her heart’s content. True to her Catahoula and cattle dog roots, she bonds deeply with her people and will always be nearby—offering a gentle nudge or settling at your feet. Juno does take daily medication for anxiety and can be a little uneasy during storms. She’s looking for a calm, cat-free home without men or young children, where she can feel safe and loved. Juno is eligible for our Foster-to-Adopt program, which means you can take some time to get to know her in your home before finalizing the adoption.
