Tootsie

My story

Tootsie is a 10 (or maybe 12, math isn't our strong suit) year old cutie looking for a forever home where she can relax, be loved, and supervise all of your activities! Tootsie is an independent, wise companion who will make you feel special when she decides to purr or rub against your legs. She likes head and butt scratches while walking and will kindly tolerate kisses on her head while she's lounging. Like any shy lady, she will take some time to open up but she is very loving once she does. She's looking for a home who understands this and will work with her to build up her trust and confidence in a new place. Once she's settled, she will come to greet you when you wake up and when you get home. She also enjoys being a shoulder cat for brief stints, as well as window perches and heated blankets. Tootsie takes twice daily medication to manage her hyperthyroidism, which she takes like a champ. She is declawed in her front paws so she will need a gentler litter to keep her comfortable.
