My story

Hi, I’m Serenity! I’m a sweet, affectionate pup with a great balance of playful energy and laid-back chill. I love spending time with my humans—if you’re looking for a Velcro dog who wants to stay by your side, I’m your girl.I’m a big fan of snuggles, kisses, squeaky toys, tennis balls, and treats—especially baby carrots and bananas! I also adore being pampered and will happily soak up all the cuddles you’ll give me. When I get excited, I’ll zoom down the hallway and my little pitter-patter steps are sure to make you smile. Oh, and I have one floppy ear that everyone says is ridiculously cute.I’ve lived with another laid-back dog and we got along great once we were slowly and properly introduced. I do best with slow introductions to other dogs, especially larger ones, but once I feel safe, I settle in just fine. I’ve also seen cats through baby gates and at the shelter—and I didn’t pay them much mind.I love meeting new people and I’m especially good with kids under 10. On walks, I’m all business—calm, focused, and ready to handle my potty time like a pro. I enjoy leisurely strolls, not big adventures, and I’m happiest with a family who enjoys a mellow pace.My only complaint? Not being allowed in the kitchen! I think that’s where all the magic (and snacks) happen.If you’re looking for a cuddly, loyal companion who’ll stick by your side and fill your days with love and floppy-eared cuteness, I might be the perfect match for you.P.S.
