My story

URGENT: Sweet Cesar (aka Joey) needs a foster or forever home— He’s running out of time, and all he wants is to be loved.   Cesar is about 5 years old and 18 pounds of pure, quiet love. He’s mostly potty trained and doesn’t lift his leg indoors—though sometimes, in the cutest way, he lifts both hind legs when he pees. It’s those little quirks that make him unforgettable.   He can be a bit shy at first, but once he feels safe, he blossoms into the most affectionate, devoted little companion. He gets along with other dogs and even cats (though he might chase them a bit playfully), and he’s lived peacefully with young children.   Cesar doesn’t bark much. He doesn’t chew things he shouldn’t. He doesn’t ask for much— just to be near you.   He needs to be near someone who will love him back. Right now, what Cesar needs more than anything is a foster or forever home. Somewhere safe. Somewhere loving. Somewhere to exhale.   We are desperate to find that for him before it’s too late.   Please, if you can open your heart and your home, even temporarily, reach out.
