Ryu

My story

Ryu is a Flame Point Siamese with the most expressive blue eyes. Ryu's story is tragic—he was discovered neglected in a cat carrier, placed on a shelf at a nearby Petco store. Upon finding him confused and detached, the store manager promptly contacted us for assistance. We simply couldn't refuse this helpless, precious soul. When we took Ryu in, we soon understood that his pain was deeper than just abandonment. He wore a collar on his neck that was so tight, it took us ages to take it off. The collar had sunk into his skin, resulting in painful scars. We can only speculate about how long he had it on it, battling to breathe and trying to move. Although he is ultimately healing, the mark around his neck remains a heartbreaking reminder of his previous abuse. Even after all he has experienced, Ryu continues to be kind and loving, yearning for a safe place to call home. This sweet boy constantly demands snuggles and will stay in bed with you all day!
