Approximate DOB: 03/18/2024 Approximate Weight: 18 lbs Meet Buttercup! - Cuddle bug: Loves being swaddled in blankets. - Joyful spirit: Performs cute little hops to greet you with a happy little face you can't resist. - Fashionista: Enjoys dressing up and looking cute. - Kid-approved: Sweet and gentle with children. - Leash-ready: Loves going on daily walks. - Excellent potty skills! Will let you know she needs out. - Knows commands sit and wait. - Happy to meet all people! Practicing to not jump on people and getting much better about it. - Cats: Curious about her fosters cat but respects her space. - Dog friendly, would do well with a companion her size to hang out with. - Crate training: does well in the crate, no messes. - Needs daily over the counter eye drops to lubricate her cherry eye twice a day. Great at letting you give them she will sit still, and tilt her head for the drops. Buttercup is a loving, affectionate pup looking for a forever home where she can snuggle up and bring joy to her people! She learns fast, listens well and is eager to please. Requirements And Donations - Required Adoption Day Items: A martingale collar and a non-retractable leash (available for purchase at ODHS). - Adoption Donations: Puppies (under 1 year): $375; Adults: $275; Seniors (age-dependent): $175; Select dogs: $500. We accept cash, debit, and credit cards. - Adoption Radius: Within 350 miles of Fredericksburg, VA. A $50 out-of-state fee applies. - Breed Identification: Dogs are listed as "Mixed Breed" unless formal documentation is available. Location And Hours - Visit our adoption center at 3602 Lafayette Blvd, Fredericksburg, VA 22408 during adoption hours: Wednesday 5-7 PM; Friday 6-8 PM; Saturday 11 AM-3 PM; Sunday 11 AM-1 PM. - We also host adoption events throughout our community.
