Meet Apollo: Nervous? Yes. Good Boy? Also Yes. This is Apollo, a handsome, treat-motivated bundle of anxiety with the soul of a squirrel and the heart of a golden retriever. He’s got a PhD in nervous pacing, a black belt in suspicious glancing, and a soft spot for—of all things—Spaghettios.Apollo is:🐾 Extremely polite on a leash.🐾 A+ kennel cleaner (he could teach a course).🐾 100% obsessed with being outside. Sunshine = therapy.🐾 Basically a golden boy with people he trusts. (Strangers must apply via a 3-week trust-building internship.)🐾 Good with other dogs who understand personal space and existential dread.🐾 Fine with older kids who don’t sneak up on him like emotionally unstable ninjas.🐾 TERRIFIED of the mailman. Like, full-on “I heard the mailbox creak, now I live under the bed” terrified.He’s not broken—he’s just a little… emotionally interpretive. He overthinks things. He sometimes forgets how to dog. But he wants to do good. He wants to love you. He just needs someone who understands that being brave doesn’t mean not being scared—it means peeking out from behind the curtain anyway (especially if you’re holding treats).So if you’ve got patience, snacks, and a quiet backyard where Apollo can gallop like a caffeinated deer, you might just be the hero he’s been stress-dreaming about.More information?
