My story

If you’re looking for a protector, Buckwheat is your guy. Buckwheat was found as a stray back in January at the Route 4/423 split. He is looking for a home without children, though we are open to teens ages 15+. He doesn’t seem comfortable around other dogs and wants to be your one and only pet. Buckwheat is a sweet boy and doesn’t seem overly affectionate, but he always poses for our pictures and knows his commands! He is strong on a leash and you’ll need to experiment with collars and harnesses for walks.Buckwheat is a nice medium sized dog weighing 65 pounds. He would love to hold down the couch and keep an eye on the place while you’re at work all day!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Buckwheat, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
