My story

Hey there, I’m Purge! You might be wondering why I’ve got such a dramatic name, right? Well, it’s all about my cry—it sounds just like the Purge siren! And let me tell you, I’m not shy about using it, especially when I’m asking for wet food. When I cry (and trust me, it’s a lot), the intake staff can’t resist my little siren act and end up giving me extra portions. It’s my secret weapon—works every time! I’m an older gentleman, and I’ve had my share of experiences. But don’t let that fool you—I’ve been in a loving foster home, and it’s really brought out the best in me. I’m a very sweet old guy now, with a heart full of love to give. It may take me a little time to warm up, but once I do, I’m as affectionate as they come. I just need a little patience and a soft touch. After all, I’ve learned that trust is built one cozy nap at a time. I’m all about the quiet life—my perfect day involves finding the softest, comfiest spot to curl up and enjoy some peace and quiet. Maybe I’ll ask for some wet food (a cat’s gotta eat, right?), and if you’re lucky, I’ll let you give me a little petting. I’m a mellow fellow and prefer the simple joys in life: a warm spot by the window, some tasty treats, and a family who can appreciate the charm of an older cat.
