My story

Hello, my name is Licorice. As my name suggests I'm super sweet. Maybe I should have been named peanut cluster, because I do have a salty side. Well, the question might be, how did I get here? Good question I don't entirely know. Do you remember when it was getting to be near zero temperatures this winter? Well, I do, it was really hard living outside. I cried and cried at a nice lady's doorstep hoping she would let me in. For three days actually. She did but only to warm me up, she couldn't keep me. Due to her being allergic, she handed me over to the Madison Heights Animal Shelter. They told me things I didn't really understand. I mean they are only humans after all. But I did understand this, that they would try their best to find me a good home. They promised me that I wouldn't be homeless or cold again. So please contact them and consider me for adoption. I'm sassy, sweet and a little salty. I can't wait to see who my new family is going to be.
