My story

Hi, I’m Schnorey! I’m a sweet, somewhat active kitty with the perfect mix of chill and playful energy. I may be an older guy, but don’t let that fool you—I’ve got the heart (and play drive!) of a kitten. I love chasing my wand toy, batting my toy mouse around, and going all-in on my scratching post. When I’m not playing, you’ll probably find me snoozing in the closet or sunbathing in a warm patch of light.I’m very social and love being around my person. In fact, I follow them from room to room and always like to be nearby—whether that’s on their lap or just hanging out in the same space. I get super excited at mealtimes and meow with joy when the food comes out! I also like to run in front of people and brush up against their legs—just my way of saying, “I’m here and I love you!”I do enjoy being pet and seek it out, though I have my preferences—please don’t touch my paws or belly, and I’m not a fan of loud noises. I haven’t met other animals yet, but I’m always excited and interested when I meet new people. I’ll usually come out to say hello and hang out instead of hiding.I’m FIV positive, but don’t worry—I have no symptoms and live a happy, healthy life. I’d thrive in a home with someone who wants a social, affectionate buddy to keep them company. If you call my name, I’ll come running—even if I’m tucked away in my favorite closet nap spot. I just can’t resist hanging out with my favorite people.
