My story

Meet Highball! Highball was found on the street by two of our team members. He was so weak and thin that he could barely move, struggling to find even the smallest scrap of food. But he was too exhausted—too defeated—to keep searching. When we brought him in, he was severely malnourished, and his little body was barely holding on. But with treatment, proper nutrition, and lots of love, he began to recover. And now? He is recovered.Highball came to us at a time when we had an overwhelming number of intakes, and unfortunately, he didn’t get the media exposure he deserved. But that doesn’t take away from everything he’s been through or how far he has come. He looks absolutely incredible now—his body is strong, his eyes are bright, and his spirit is unstoppable. He is full of life, bursting with energy, and always ready to play. And when he’s not zooming around, he loves to curl up next to you, soaking in all the affection he missed out on for so long.But even though he is safe with us, a kennel is not a home. Nothing compares to the love and security of a real family. Highball survived the worst, and he deserves the absolute best. He is an amazing, friendly, and super social dog! Loves to play with dogs, and greets everyone with a big smile. Adopt Highball!
