My story

Prada is a sweet and snuggly 6-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix with a heart full of love and a soft spot for hotdogs and car rides! This adorable black and white beauty is gentle, playful, and loves nothing more than curling up for cuddles or heading out for sniffy walks to explore the world around her. She’s housetrained, sleeps soundly in her crate at night, and is always up for a chicken snack or two. Prada is a sensitive soul who can be skittish with new sounds and hesitant around strangers, but she’s curious and learning every day with the help of her patient foster parents. With time and love, she warms up—especially if you're sitting down and ready for kisses! She continues to make great progress with training like “leave it” and “look at that,” and is showing more confidence each week. Prada would thrive in a calm home with understanding adopters who will give her space to adjust and the love she craves. Our dogs and puppies go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (6 months and over), and up to date on core vaccines, heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.
