My story

Birthday: June 1, 2022 Meet pretty Millie! Millie is a sweet and energetic tabby with a unique stripe, cute white mittens, and beautiful green eyes.  She was fostered after seen around the neighborhood and sleeping on a porch during freezing winter temperatures.  No owners were located, and so Millie came to LCCR in hopes of finding her forever home.   Millie loves to play and enjoys toys and can also entertain herself, which is so fun to watch!  She enjoys being around people and may curl up near or next to you.  She does not typically force herself into your personal space.  She loves pets and may purr when she is lying near you.  Millie gets along well with people and has interacted well with children.  However, she does not have experience with toddlers or younger. She doesn't typically hide, and she enjoys having access to her own space.  She is also a fan of cat trees and will enjoy some spots where she can be high above it all.  Mille would do best in a home as the only cat and can do well with calm dogs. If an animal crosses her boundaries, she will let them know.  However, when her foster parents remove her from any pet squabbles or potential squabbles, she remains very calm with humans. Millie is currently being fostered in a home with an adult neutered male cat (who after some time she  can co-exist without much conflict) a female spayed cat (that she will lunge out and chase away, hence why we can’t recommend other cats in the home) a small senior dog that she leaves alone, and a puppy who will try to play with her and she will clearly let him know that she does not want to play. Millie is small and very food motivated. Maybe she could learn some tricks! Millie's adoption donation is $115 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and spay.
