My story

Frida is a beautiful and affectionate German Shepherd who has been through a lot but still has so much love to give. She was surrendered to Dallas Animal Services, where she was heartbreakingly scheduled for euthanasia due to overcrowding. But Fridaâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s story didnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t end thereâ&#194&#128&#194&#148thanks to HSDC, she was given a second chance at finding the loving retirement home she truly deserves. Frida spent some time in a foster home, where she quickly showed just how special she is. Her foster parent describes her as: 'A super happy, friendly dog who thrives on attention and playtime. She adores people and is eager to learn new tricks. Sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s already house-trained and knows how to sit and lie down. While she can be a little shy at first, she warms up quickly and, when sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s in a playful mood, she feels just like a puppy again!' Frida does have some special medical needs. Weâ&#194&#128&#194&#153re looking for a compassionate adopter or foster who can provide her with the safe, loving environment she needs to heal. The shelter will cover her surgeryâ&#194&#128&#194&#148she just needs a home where she can recover comfortably. Frida has already overcome so much, and now she just needs a family to help her start the best chapter of her life. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise.
