My story

Meet Bacon!Bacon is a stunning 11-month-old black kitten with a story as unique as his name. Found running feral inside a Petco, this little guy started out as a very scared and spicy kitten. But with months of patience, love, and gentle care from his foster family, Bacon has blossomed into a much more confident and curious young cat.Now, Bacon enjoys hanging out with his foster family, lounging on the top of the sofa, gazing out windows, and playing with his favorite toys. He has also grown comfortable around the resident cats and dogs in his foster home. While he’s made incredible progress, Bacon is still a cautious kitty when meeting new people. He will thrive in a patient and understanding home that will give him the time and space he needs to feel safe and truly come out of his shell.Bacon is neutered and ready to begin his next chapter in a loving forever home. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
