My story

ABOUT PUMPKIN PATCH Meet Pumpkin Patch, our beautiful 1-year-old calico girl! This lovely lady was brought to HAP as a stray mom with her kittens. We decided to give her a break by sending her little ones to foster care, where they could learn to socialize. Pumpkin Patch is a strong-willed lady—after all, you have to be when you're a single mom on the streets! She definitely prefers things to be done her way, though she’s not aggressive if things don’t go according to plan. While she enjoys hanging out with people, she’s not quite into snuggling yet. She likes to watch other kitties play, and sometimes, she’ll even join in! *Pumpkin Patch does well with other cats, though she can be quite dominant. We recommend she go to a home without dogs or kids. If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.
