My story

Meet Amphion!This handsome boy is a quiet observer of the world, preferring to take it all in with his nose—he loves to explore by sniffing everything around him. While he may seem a little reserved at first, especially in a busy shelter environment, Amphion has a soft side that shines once he feels comfortable. In the play yard, he started off a bit standoffish but quickly warmed up, leaning in for pets and head scratches like an old friend.Amphion is treat-motivated and knows how to sit politely for a snack. He’s still adjusting to shelter life, which might be why he doesn’t show much interest in toys or people right away—but give him a little time, and he’ll surprise you with how affectionate he can be. He has the cutest squishy face and a thick tail that adds to his charm.He hasn’t been around kids during his time here, but based on his current behavior, we’d recommend a home with older children who can respect his space as he settles in.If you`re looking for a thoughtful, treat-loving pup who just needs a little patience to blossom, Amphion could be your perfect match.
