With his melodic mix of meows and chirps, he’ll happily narrate his day, weigh in on yours, and keep the commentary flowing—especially if head scritches are involved. Though he may appear a bit aloof at first (as any true gentleman might), give him a calm space and a little time, and you’ll discover a devoted companion who revels in quiet company and cozy routines. Charles could also enjoy the refined friendship of another easy-going, mature cat who shares his appreciation for sunbeams and unhurried naps. Charles lives confidently with diabetes; his simple, consistent care routine keeps him feeling his best and showcases just how adaptable—and unflappable—he really is.
