My story

Darby is the kind of dog who wins hearts with her soft eyes, silly side, and love of a good cuddle session. Once she knows you, she’s affectionate, playful, and happiest right by your side. She's got a gentle, curious nature and a great sense of fun—zoomies included. Darby is still getting used to the world around her and can be a little unsure in new situations or with unfamiliar people. She’s making great progress and would really benefit from having a confident, friendly dog buddy to show her the ropes. A fenced-in yard would help too, giving her space to stretch her legs and work on her leash skills and potty training. Darby is looking for a home that’s ready to go at her pace. Treats, patience, and a kind heart go a long way with this girl—and once she’s comfortable, her playful and affectionate personality shines.
