My story

Hi I’m Dixie, a delicate fairy who enjoys gentleness and a softer pace in life. I am usually observing you from a distance, but I will give you my attention if you have crunchy treats or my favorite wand toy called a Cat Dancer. I’m very cautious with humans as I have lived in the shelter for 8 years, since I was a kitten. I need a human that understands that I will require time to adjust to a home environment. We could enjoy soft classical music together! Ideal home: Calm lifestyle with someone who is accepting of shy cats or just a big patient heart. No dogs please, but I do get along with other cats at the shelter. I love to play with the Cat Dancer toy, gentle feathers and eat crunchy treats. Also I love to play with water and might enjoy playing with water bowl toys. Best of all is to have towers with hiding spots above ground plus sturdy scratching boards.
