Oreo

My story

Oreo is a 2 year old Dachshund/Chihuahua Mix looking for her forever home. Currently Oreo is awaiting her spay appointment so we are looking for a foster to adopt home for her to eliminate her being bounced around as she is a bit on the timid side. She tends to warm up fairly quickly but regardless we are looking for a home that can provide patience and love. - Oreo has lived with children before but because she is on the timid side we would recommend children being 10 years old and up. - Oreo is good in her crate overnight, and does not have accidents. However, if left out overnight she tends to regress in that area. - She would do best in a quiet home without MANY strangers coming and going. - She is good on a leash and in the car. - She is dog friendly and has met a lot of other personalities. We have noticed that she enjoys calmer dogs more than a hyperactive friend. Oreo is available for adoption within 2 hours of Chicago, however is scheduled for her spay at our city vet in Irving Park neighborhood so potential adopter must be okay with making that appointment. Her adoption fee includes spay, up to date vaccines and preventatives, heartworm negative and microchip.
