My story

Foster Update: This lovely lady is full of charm and chill vibes. Vella adores people and gets along well with smaller, non-dominant dogs. She’s also previously lived with cats and did great! 🐶🐱 ☀️ Vella is solar-powered — her favorite pastime is lounging in the grass with a toy in her mouth, just soaking up the sunshine. She's eager to please, super smart, and quick to learn! This adorable 33-pound bundle of joy is full of playful energy and loves to explore the world around her. She’s independent yet affectionate, always curious about her surroundings. Vella seems to be potty trained, as she did her business right away outside. She’s pretty easy to leash up and eager to head out for adventures, though she wasn’t too thrilled about going back inside—she just loves being outdoors! This sweet girl is ready to find her forever home where she can truly shine and be her best, playful self! Could that be with you? On 2/21/25 Vella met another dog. She was timid and unsure in her kennel. I moved slowly to get her leashed up. She was somewhat stop and go on leash going outside, so I carried her. Once outside, she was submissive and tolerant throughout her interactions. She did open up some with a gentle/dainty playstyle. She did very well walking back inside. Video uploaded.
