My story

Akhtoot is a gentle, shy girl with a heart of gold. Though she may take a little time to warm up, once she feels safe, she’ll show you her sweet side. Akhtoot is a bit nervous in new environments, but with patience and a calm, understanding home, she’ll blossom into a loving companion. She enjoys quiet moments and will appreciate a peaceful environment where she can relax and feel secure. Akhtoot may not be the most outgoing at first, but once she trusts you, you’ll be rewarded with quiet cuddles and gentle purring. This sweet girl is looking for a family who understands her need for patience and a slow introduction. She’ll do best in a calm home, ideally with an adopter who can give her the time and space she needs to adjust at her own pace. Our cats and kittens go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on core vaccines, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.
