My story

Name: Scooby (AKA Scoob, Scoobster, Scoobert) Hometown: Born in Fresno, moved to Santa Barbara, currently living at Santa Barbara Humane Favorite Activity: Kissing on command. As in, I see you and I'm ready to share the love, whether you're ready or not! About Me: Hi there, I'm Scooby- tall, goofy, and still figuring out how my legs work. I'm a 10 month old Great Dane/ Hound Mix with the personality of an overly- excited gym bro and the coordination of a baby giraffe. I love long walks on the beach or at the park, sniffing quite literally everything, and gourmet meals. I've had positive experiences wth other dogs, teenagers, and unsure about cats. I'm looking for someone fun yet patient and ready for commitment. Must love big dogs and know the value of structure + training. I've got a lot to give but I'm still learning not to jump into life full-speed. After all, I'm just a big puppy with lots of puppy energy. I've been married once before, the divorce was finalized just a few months ago and unfortunately, it wasn't the best fit for us. My previous paw-son didn't take me out much or train me at all so I'm learning the ropes again. I'm passionate on self growth and know I can achieve the best version of myself, I just need some guidance to achieve that goal. Call now if you're into big boys with even bigger hearts. #SponsoredByDoggyTinder Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come first served basis. For more information please email Adopt@SBHumane.org or call 805-964-4777. When I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home. Our adoption fees and items you purchase from our retail area help support our community programs and the next animal who needs our help!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Scooby, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
