My story

Meet Rosa: The Total Package & she can leave TODAY! At just 3 years old, Rosa is pure magic. She’s mellow, polite, and oh so loving. She’s not the type to zoom around with endless energy, but she’ll give you the cutest little bounce for a treat. She checks in often, popping her head onto your lap for some love. She loves back scratches, pats, and showing off her perfect sploot. Rosa is gentle, playful, and engaged, with the most adorable sit and a perfect paw shake. Western Ave. Chicago, IL *The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID. *All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs. *Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
