She’s incredibly smart and shows signs of prior training, but she’s looking for a patient and loving human to help her brush up on her manners and build her confidence. With consistent boundaries and guidance, she’ll truly shine.She’s best as an only dog as she loves her own space to relax and she loves being the center of attention. She loves all the cuddles she can get! She happily retreats to her crate when she needs her alone timeCandy’s energy level is perfectly in tune with her people. Whether it’s a brisk power walk, a hiking adventure, or simply lounging on the couch, Candy is happiest when she’s near you. Be prepared for her excitement during transitions—like waking up or coming home—but once the initial zoomies are out, she’s ready to relax.Candy would do best in a home with dog-savvy children and with humans who are retired, work from home, or have a flexible schedule.
