My story

Meet Erin, a 4-year-old mixed breed beauty with a heart full of love and energy to spare. Rescued from the devastating California wildfires in January 2025, Erin came to Big Dog Ranch with her best friend, Emilia. The two have been inseparable ever since, and they're looking for a forever home together. Erin has a high energy level and would do best with an adopter who has some experience with dogs and can provide her with the exercise and structure she needs. She is great with other dogs, good with kids (as long as they’re supervised), and truly blossoms in a home environment. She is housetrained, knows basic commands, and adores cuddles, toys, and spending quality time with her people. Erin’s joyful spirit and affectionate personality shine brightest when she’s with Emilia—together, they make the perfect team.
